"We have never enjoyed a tour as much as this one. It is a wine lovers's dream. Our guide, Robert, was knowledgeable, personable, and impeccable customer service skills. The tour of the award-winning wineries introduced us to superb wines and the decor of each wineries done with exquisite taste.

The cherry on top of the sundae was our dinner at the Asylum Restaurant in Jerome. It was part of our tour and at the suggestion of our tour guide, we asked for a window table. What a great idea as we saw an amazing sunset. The food was delicious and the customer service was fabulous. A most romantic evening. Robert picked us up and drove us back to our resort--Yeah!!!  This tour was a WOW".

 FYI CORNER....................

People are surprised to hear that wine is grown in Arizona! What comes to mind for most visitors unfamiliar with our geography, is a desert with the Grand Canyon carving through it.  The reality is,
our 92 vineyards in southern and northern Arizona are all at elevations  3800 to 5500 feet.  The temperatures at these higher elevations are ideal for Italian
varietals, Rhone varietals and others.  When you think of Arizona terroir, then
think of regions in Italy, Spain, France & Argentina.  Also, we had a thriving wine industry before prohibition and grapes were only allowed to be grown commercially again starting in the 1980's!
Arizona is truly a state with an amazing variety of terrain, from the Sonoran Desert, to rolling grasslands, to the largest Ponderosa Pine Forest in the world with mountain peaks over 11,000 feet high and ofcourse, spectacular red rock canyons........
