Meet your guides

Your Sedona Wine Adventures tour is dedicated to your enjoyment. Each tour is a single party of two or more with a private vehicle and guide.

Sedona Wine Adventures is proud to be part of the great wine community growing strong in Arizona. Our wine tours are private, personalized, everything-included outings to Arizona wineries and tasting rooms throughout the magnificent Verde Valley.

Jeff Koppelmaa

Jeff began his wine studies in 1994 by learning from “friends in the know” – wine makers and distributors as well as gracious hosts and hostesses in California and Oregon. After years of study, he is more fascinated than ever by the grapevine itself and by the winemaking process that takes us from “bunch to bottle.”

Jeff believes that the quality and diversity of the winemaking here makes Arizona – especially the Verde Valley – an ideal location for wine exploration and discovery. He leads Sedona Wine Adventures outings with deep knowledge and a characteristic warm enthusiasm.

teri klein

Since her first days working at Walt Disney World in the 90s, Teri has had a passion for helping people have FUN. Her experience developing a training program about Northwest wines for the Disney resort sparked Teri’s appreciation for wine, and she built on this during her graduate studies in hospitality management at Cornell University’s Hotel School.

Before moving to Arizona, Teri lived in the San Francisco Bay Area, where weekends were often spent visiting Napa or Sonoma. Teri’s hospitality experience and discerning wine appreciation make her particularly well suited as a guide for Arizona’s fast-growing wine scene. She provides the attention and service that helps guests enjoy an unforgettable experience exploring the Verde Valley and AZ wines.

George Riley

George and his family moved to Jerome in the summer of 2014 from Northern California. George has been a focused student of wine appreciation, but his true passion lies in the actual vineyard. He is currently a student at Arizona’s Southwest Wine Center where he is pursuing his Associate of Applied Science degree in Viticulture and Enology.

When not on tour, it’s likely that George is out in local vineyards learning to assess grape ripeness and sugar levels, checking for vineyard pests and picking or pruning. George’s easygoing and fun-loving personality – combined with his local knowledge and Verde Valley viticulture vibe – make for a great day of wine adventure!
